TL Ventures is a venture capital and private equity firm investing in software, information technology, and business services that is headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania and was founded in 1988. According to the firms website (as of November 2019) they have more than $1.5 billion under management, invested in over 200 companies, provided a cumulative net IRR to limited partners of 21% through their seven venture capital funds, and are no longer institutionally investing. TL Ventures has also helped launch other venture capital and private equity firms such as EnerTech Capital, Hamilton Lane, Internet Capital Group (Actua), Fidelcor Capital, Peak 6 and Penn Mezzanine.
