Tellurium

Tellurium (chemical symbol - Te, from Lat. Tellurium) is a chemical element of the 16th group (according to the outdated classification - the sixth group of the group of the main subgroup, VIA), the fifth period of the periodic system of chemical elements of D. I. Mendeleev, with atomic number 52.

The simple substance tellurium is a fragile, slightly toxic rare semi-metal of silvery-white color. Tellurium is chemically bound to selenium and sulfur.
