Thammasat University, also known as มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์, is a public educational institute located in Bangkok and Pathum Thani, Thailand. The university, founded by Pridi Banomyong on June 27, 1934, is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation of Thailand. Thammasat University operates in the industries of education, higher education, and functions as a university.
The institution is affiliated with the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning. Thammasat University has two mottos: "Be the finest, be fair, be the main engine of the society" and "Be smart,Be fair, leading people". Thammasat University Hospital is a subsidiary of the university.
