The service can be implemented in IT service backend invisible to the end users or interfaces that interact with the users.

Curious AI builds in-house artificial intelligence tools for intelligent process automation assistants called Digital Co-workers. The company intends to sell its artificial intelligent toolkit to suit enterprise business and industrial automation requirements. For enterprise automation, the platform can perform invoice automation where it can learn how to manage incoming invoices. The intelligent platform can also be trained to understand human text with natural language processing. It can understand and integrate legacy database into new IT architecture with appropriate training. Business process analytics and predictive analysis are also features of this platform.

The platform can adapt with industrial operations. With deep learning of industrial processes, it can predict multi-dimensional processes to help operators optimize them with less supervision. The AI can also be trained to understand industrial design practices to support new product development.

Harri Valpola, Antti Rasmus, Mathias Berglund, Tapani Raiko, and Timo Haanpää founded the company in 2015 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. Harri has over 20 years of machine learning, neuroscience, and robotics experience. He founded ZenRobotics before starting Curious AI Company. The Curious AI company started with semi-autonomous robots capable of sorting material from trash in waste processing facilities. He is also the author of “Semi-Supervised Learning with Ladder Networks” which combined supervised and unsupervised learning for deep learning.
