The Thing (video game)

The Thing is a third-person shooter video game based on the 1982 film of the same name. It was created by David Foster and Lawrence Turman, and the board of directors included John Carpenter. The game was published by Vivendi Games and was released on August 21, 2002 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.

Set in the United States, The Thing combines elements of horror and sci-fi genres. The game features key people from the original film, including Kurt Russell, Wilford Brimley, T. K. Carter, David Clennon, Keith David, Richard Dysart, Richard Masur, Charles Hallahan, Peter Maloney, Donald Moffat, Joel Polis, and Thomas G. Waites.
