The Thought for Food Foundation is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland and was founded in 2011 by Christine Gould. The Thought for Food Foundations is a non-profit organization working towards increasing global food security through helping entrepreneurs and running educational programs and experiences. The Thought for Food Foundations holds global educational summits in: Lisbon, Portugal; Berlin, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland; and Amsterdam, Netherlands. The company claims that it has engaged with over 12,000 students through their educational Thought for Food Academy and has played a role in the development of over 40 social enterprises focused on improving global food security
