Tim Gavin

Tim Gavin is a Massachusetts-based businessperson and entrepreneur. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Boston College. He has spent much of his career acting as CEO or senior vice president of various software companies. In 2020, he co-founded his own company, Ark Data, Inc.

Gavin began working in software when he joined Eze Castle Software (ECS), an investment management software startup, in September 1996. He co-founded Code Red in October 2004, serving as CEO until February 2015 when the company was purchased by FactSet. Gavin took over as Senior Vice President (SVP) of FactSet, from February 2015 until December 2019. Gavin left Factset at the start of 2020, starting work as a Strategic Advisor for Waya in July 2020. He started Ark Data, Inc. in October 2020 and currently serves as President.
