TimeX is a hybrid cryptocurrency exchange based on Ethereum's Plasma blockchain that integrates centralized and decentralized technologies and is cryptographically secured to ensure accuracy of trading operations. Chrono.tech, the company that developed TimeX, has also launched the Australian dollar-backed token AUDT, in order to improve the efficiency and security of moving funds in and out of the blockchain ecosystem for Australian users. TimeX is regulated by Austrac, Australia’s financial intelligence agency, which ensures the company follows best practices and guidelines for the fintech and crypto industry. Chrono.tech’s team is composed of more than thirty employees located around the world.
Apart from its conventional user interface, TimeX provides application programming interfaces (APIs) that can be utilized to access TimeX accounts from other trading applications. Regular users can use these APIs to integrate their account with trading terminals such as TabTrader, enabling them to trade on multiple exchanges through a mobile device no matter their location. Initially, API access must be activated by the user. Once active, users can enable a variety of functions to increase security. Additionally, developers can automate their trading strategies or participate in high-frequency trading, market making, and arbitrage between different cryptocurrency pairs and exchanges by coding bots.
