Tina Karol is a Ukrainian singer, actress, songwriter, and television presenter. Karol studied at the Kyiv Institute of Music, and in 2006, she represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Show Me Your Love," placing seventh. She is a mentor on The Voice of Ukraine. In 2020, she also became a judge at Vidbir, Ukraine's National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She was the soloist of the Ensemble of Song and Dance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. She was also a coach on The Voice for Kids from 2012-2021 and is a TV presenter of the Ukrainian projects Dancing with the Stars and Lip Sync Battle. She was awarded the 2009 Honored Artist of Ukraine and the 2017 People's Artist of Ukraine.
Tina Karol comes from a western Ukrainian family with a Jewish father. She was married for four years to Evgeniy Ogir, who died at thirty-two after battling stomach cancer for two years. Their son, Veniamin Ogir, born on November 18, 2008.
