Tokyo Century Corporation is a Tokyo, Japan based financial services, leasing and investing company. They operate in Japan and 37 other countries.
They split their business into four main pursuits. Equipment leasing, which accounts for 40$ of Tokyo Century's operating assets, and through which they lease factory equipment, medical equipment, construction equipment and commercial equipment. Mobility and Fleet Management, through which Tokyo Century leases and rents a fleet of near 690,000 vehicles. Specialty Financing, in which Tokyo Ventures works to create new financial and business services, such as solar generation or aviation. And International Business, through which they invest in non-Japanese companies and provide the capital investment to support Japanese companies to expand internationally.
Through their International Business sector, Tokyo Century has invested in Grab, AnyMind Group, Trillium Secure and Bank Nationalnobu. They exited their investment in Bank Nationalnobu.
In September 2019, Tokyo Century announced the acquisition of Aviation Capital Group LLC from their majority shareholder, Pacific Life Insurance. Aviation Capital Group is an aviation leasing platform which fits under Tokyo Ventures Specialty Financing mandate to create new financial and business services.
