Tushy was founded in 2015 by THINX co-founder Miki AgrawalMiki Agrawal and Justin Allen and is headquartered in Brooklyn. The company’s primary product is the TUSHY bidet, an attachable bidet that hooks up to most standard toilets as well as some international toilet models.
The Tushy bidet begins at $35 (Canadian dollars) for a basic model. It installs under the toilet seat and has a water spray nozzle that extends below the rim at the back of the toilet which shoots a vertical stream of water. The device is turned on and off using a hand control. The bidet attachments are sold online at Amazon, Home Depot and Canadian TireCanadian Tire. Users claim that they save money by using less toilet paper and that the system is more hygienic and less irritating than wiping.
