Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry, born Emmitt Perry Jr. on September 13, 1966, is a multi-faceted artist from the United States. He was born in New Orleans and is an alumnus of Cohen College Prep High School and the Juilliard School. Perry holds citizenship in the United States.

Throughout his career, Tyler Perry has spanned various roles in the entertainment industry. He is known for his work as an actor, film director, screenwriter, playwright, film producer, songwriter, novelist, television director, theatre director, showrunner, and television producer.

Perry is also the founder of Tyler Perry Studios, located in Atlanta. He has directed various films, including "For Colored Girls", "Madea's Witness Protection", "Boo! A Madea Halloween", "I Can Do Bad All by Myself", "Madea's Family Reunion", and "Boo 2! A Madea Halloween". In addition to his work in film and television, Perry has also worked in the genre of gospel music.
