A method of treatment may comprise injecting into a portion of a body a composition which may comprise a plurality of polymeric electrospun fiber fragments, and a carrier medium comprising an effective amount of chitosan. The treatment may be directed to one or more of joint inflammation, osteoarthritis, a tissue injury, a muscle tear, a ligament tear, a tendon tear, a void, incontinence, an aneurysm, and a tumor.
