The system persists the workflow definition, and the persisting includes serializing the workflow definition. The system synchronizes the workflow definition to one or more user devices, including transmitting the serialized workflow definition to the user devices. The workflow definition includes nested objects, and the system serializes the workflow definition and nested objects separately and links the serialized objects using an object identifier.
