The face member fc1 includes a flat plate portion PT forming the hitting surface 4 and a flange FL extending backward from a peripheral edge of the flat plate portion PT. The flange FL includes a first flange FL1 located in a top-side region, and a second flange FL2 located in a sole-side region. The flange FL is not provided in a toe-side region and a heel-side region. The flange FL is joined to the body member bd1.
