A carrying device with a built-in security system including a security unit (10) having components housed in an integral unit, where the components include a camera (1) with a light sensor (2); a speed sensor (4); a distance sensor (9); a GPS tracker (8); a transponder (7) for sending and accepting digital data; a microcontroller (15), and a rechargeable power supply (5) in electrical communication with the microcontroller (15), the camera (1), the speed sensor (4), the distance sensor (9), the GPS tracker (8), and the transponder (7), to monitor the location and contents of the carrying device and to provide real time feedback to the user.
