In some embodiments, a connecter is adapted to removably attach a visibility-enhancing portion to a container. Such containers can include at least one strap, and the visibility-enhancing portion can be arranged between the container and one a strap, to extend at least partially beyond a perimeter of the container to increase visibility of the wearer.
