One or more applications running on client devices can be provided to facilitate the sharing of information between data storage repositories and the healthcare practice. For example, data stored in multiple different data storage systems can be retrieved and provided to the applications in a unified fashion. Likewise, data in different formats, data stored with different encryption protocols and otherwise disparate data types can be gathered, translated, and presented to the applications in a form and format readable by the application.
