The extension is configured to facilitate the selective repositioning of the device mount in an extended position and a retracted position. The latching panel assembly is operatively coupled to the device mount. The latching panel assembly includes a post. The latch assembly is operatively coupled to the surface mount and configured to selectively secure the device mount in the retracted position through an interaction with the post and includes a latch that is rotatable with respect to the surface mount in response to the interaction with the post.
