Techniques in accordance with one or more aspects of the present disclosure may involve use of separate interfaces for collecting or accessing data used to draw a user interface that presents information about a network, and for collecting or receiving data used to update the user interface as changes occur to the utilization of infrastructure elements represented within the user interface.
