The cosmetics brush can comprise a plurality of elongate primary brush fibers, each of the primary brush fibers defining a rectangular transverse cross section, each of the primary brush fibers defining four substantially parallel edges along a length of the primary brush fiber; and a ferrule attached to the plurality of primary brush fibers.
