The stent for repairing a pipe can comprise a coiled extension stent spring comprising a plurality of spring coils and a seal assembled with the coiled extension stent spring and configured to engage an inner surface of a pipe, wherein the stent is configurable in an extended configuration and a contracted configuration, the coiled stent spring biasing the stent to the contracted configuration.
