The injector apparatus includes a pair of gripper chains where each gripper chain has a plurality of gripper blocks coupled therewith and a block body positioned adjacent to the gripping region and configured to couple the gripper chain. Each of the gripper blocks include a gripping region having a radical/curved v-shaped gripping surface.
