In one or more embodiments, a system is provided comprising a processor and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. These operations can comprise facilitating establishing a wireless communication link between a first device and a second network device of a wireless communication network, and determining a waveform filtering protocol for application by the first device in association with performance of uplink data transmissions from the first device to the second network device.
