A floor mat including an elastomeric mat and an emblem with a base and a shell. The base has a portion supporting the shell and a peripheral flange portion surrounding the supporting portion and forming a hidden portion within the floor mat and having apertures. The shell overlays the supporting portion and forms a visible portion of the emblem on only one side of the floor mat.
