Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a broadcast or a multicast (broadcast/multicast) scheduling configuration for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the broadcast/multicast scheduling configuration identifying, for receiving broadcast/multicast communications, at least one of: a plurality of radio network temporary identifiers that are respectively associated with a plurality of beams, or one or more bandwidth parts. The UE may receive a broadcast/multicast communication associated with a broadcast/multicast control channel or a broadcast/multicast traffic channel via a physical downlink shared channel in accordance with the broadcast/multicast scheduling configuration for the PDCCH.
