The spreader has a bottom and a combustion chamber that is defined by a crenellated wall wherein a plurality of fuel exit portions defines the crenellated wall. The burner base includes a peripheral wall. The at least one annular burner cap is coupled to the peripheral wall of the burner base and is positioned on the crenellated wall.
