An example operation includes one or more of determining, by a charging station, a first amount of energy required by a transport for a full charge, determining, by the charging station, a second amount of energy that the transport will provide back to the charging station at a later time, and charging, by the charging station, the transport to a charge level equal to a difference between the first amount of energy and the second amount of energy.
