A wireless communication system node has at least two antenna ports, a beamforming controller, and a beamforming network. The beamforming network has at least two beam ports that are adapted to provide corresponding beams. The beamforming controller is arranged to control the beamforming network such that the beams have a common envelope in a desired plane, where the common envelope is adapted to provide coverage for a certain communication system sector.
