Patent attributes
An apparatus, including a personal monitoring device assigned to an individual, which includes a database, global positioning device, first processor, and RFID tag, an RFID reader located at an entrance or exit of a venue or vehicle; and a computer assigned to a venue or vehicle. The RFID reader detects the RFID tag and the computer generates and transmits a first message containing information regarding a date and time when the RFID tag was detected and location information regarding the venue or vehicle. The personal monitoring device processes information regarding the address or location of the venue or vehicle using information regarding a travel itinerary or schedule of the individual. The personal monitoring device determines that the individual is not following, or has deviated from, the travel itinerary or schedule and generates and transmits a second message to a user communication device or central processing computer.
