An audio device comprises a housing having an acoustic opening and the electroacoustic transducer including the novel diaphragm. Methods for constructing a transducer comprises determining the flux density of a magnetic field and configuring a diaphragm with separate subcircuits to correlate or inversely correlate to the flux density.
