Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure allow retail stores to provide real-time information to their customers about products and/or services that may complement another product that a customer is interested in purchasing. A portable electronic device, such as a cell phone, may receive wirelessly transmitted communications from wireless transmitters that are associated with products and services that the customer approaches, touches, or scans.
