Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a configuration of a resource pool for configured grant uplink communications and one or more parameters for identifying a resource set from the resource pool, wherein the resource set is a subset of resources in the resource pool; identify the resource set of the resource pool based at least in part on the one or more parameters; and transmit a configured grant uplink communication in a resource selected from the resource set.
