The pressure exchanger further includes a first component forming a low-pressure port, wherein the first fluid is routed between the rotor and the low-pressure port via a low-pressure passageway. The pressure exchanger further includes a second component forming a fluid passageway between the low-pressure passageway and a centerbore of the pressure exchanger.
