A compartment can be comprised of an inner and an outer layer of material, with the outer layer comprised of two or more releasably attaching outer panels. The inner layer of a compartment can comprise a releasably attachable vertical joint that can allow access to a wearer's body for insertion and manipulation of a medical apparatus.
