The composition is essentially calorie-free. The invention also includes a composition having a taste and texture like honey. The honey-like composition contains a gum, a non-nutritive sweetener, a preservative agent a flavoring agent and at least one of glycerin and a glycol. The composition additionally contains water. The invention additionally includes a method of forming a food product.
