A light emitting apparatus 1 emits one the s polarized light and the p polarized light that are split by the first and second polarized light beam splitters 13, 14 as first vertical polarized light having a vibration plane in an electric field substantially perpendicular to the ground and converts the other of the p polarized light and the s polarized light by first and second ½ wave plates 5, 6 for converting a vibration plane in an electric field as second vertical polarized light having a vibration plane in an electric field substantially perpendicular to the ground for emission.
