Specifically, provided are: an electrophotographic apparatus equipped with an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a surface layer containing a diorganopolysiloxane having a specific repeating structural unit; and a process cartridge that is detachably attached to a main body of the electrophotographic apparatus.
