A portable tether anchor/ladder roof anchor assembly for attaching to and securing a ladder to the roof ridge of a building and providing a tether anchor for fall protection. One embodiment consists of an assembly attached to the rungs of a ladder to allow a ladder to be rolled up onto a roof, turned over and secured in position over the roof ridge to be used as a tether anchor and a ladder roof anchor.
