The structure for mounting a multi-optical axis photoelectric sensor comprises: a rail-shaped projecting portion, formed on the side face of a columnar case along the longitudinal direction thereof, a movable-side member, having a gripping mechanism which detachably grips a rail-shaped projecting portion of the columnar case, a mounting portion, mountable on a supporting wall from the side facing the supporting wall, and a fixed-side member, rotatably supporting the movable-side member via a supporting mechanism, with the mounting portion mounted in a state where the columnar case is positioned on the side of the mounting portion.
