Patent abstract
A vehicle includes a starter-generator assembly; portions of the assembly may be disposed within a stator cover, which is mounted to a crank case of an engine of the vehicle. According to some embodiments, one of at least two operator activated input mechanisms may be selected for starting the starter-generator. According to some methods of operation, the starter-generator assembly can be used to pre-set pistons of the engine.
