A temperature-sensing device installed in a component, which rotates when the machine is operating, and sending a temperature —dependant signal. A stationary monitoring device connected to the temperature sensor in a remote query connection, and having means for creating a temperature measurement correction depending on the heating rate progression of the sensed temperature.
