Drying equipment to aid drying of a web of freshly printed media, the equipment having a feed path along which the freshly printed web is fed by a drive means, and a drying fluid supply means that directs drying fluid across the web along the extent of the feed path, whereby the drive means drives the media at a speed that provides the desired degree of drying for the length of the feed path and particular drying fluid used.
