US Patent 7328521 Pressure-actuated gas fill/purge valve

An enclosure is provided. The enclosure includes at least one self-actuating valve assembly, incorporated within a wall of the enclosure, including at least one spring member, at least one pivot, attached to the at least one spring member, and at least two seal plugs, attached to the at least one spring member, wherein one of the at least two seal plugs actuates a gas purge and one of the at least two seal plugs actuates a gas fill. The enclosure also includes a retaining clip fastened to the at least one self-actuating valve assembly, wherein the retaining clip ensures that the at least two seal plugs do not unseat under dynamic environments.
