US Patent 7388163 Metal raceway system

The present invention is directed to a raceway system including a base, at least two covers a device bracket and a faceplate. The base includes sidewalls having a top wall with a flange member. The covers include a top portion having two ends with a flange member at each end. The flange members of the covers are in mating engagement with the flange members of the base when the cover is coupled to the base. The cover is flush with the base when it is coupled to the base. The device bracket is installed in the base. The covers are positioned over the device bracket and the faceplate is installed over the device bracket. The faceplate overlaps a portion of each cover and extends over a portion of the top walls of the base.
