A method and a device for washing a drain pipe allowing a nozzle to be rotated along the inner peripheral surface of a pipe even in a lateral pipe, wherein the positions of a plurality of injection holes (10, 11, 12, and 13) formed in the nozzle (1) are formed and the amount of high pressure water jetted from each of the injection holes (10, 11, 12, and 13) are regulated so that the specific injection hole (10) only among the plurality of injection holes is set so as to be opposed always to the inner peripheral surface (5a) of the pipe.
