US Patent 7574929 Controllable pipette

The invention relates to a controllable pipette comprising a piston actuated by a motor, a control system allowing actuation of the piston according to a given pipetting function consisting of several steps, setting keys (7, 8) for selecting the desired pipetting function, a switch (1), which activates the function steps when depressed, and a display (3). The control system comprises a change function, whose activation enables a change of the selected function in the process of its operation. When the change function can be activated, this is indicated on the display and it can be activated by depressing a given setting key.
