A cable entry device (500, 600) for providing sealing in a space between a cable (1) and a surrounding material. The device comprises a covering (400, 510, 620) having sealing members (420, 430) for receiving said material therebetween. The sealing members are formed by a recess (410) in the covering. The covering comprises a recess for temporarily receiving the second sealing member when the covering is inserted into a hole in the material.
