The invention is a shipping box and an internal holding device designed to transport a dental impression without damage or distortion by suspending the impression by it's handle inside the box so that it does not touch the interior walls of the box. The box, constructed of fiberboard or plastic is divided into a receptacle, where the internal holding device secures the handle of the impression, and a suspension area, where the body of the impression is suspended in mid-air. The interior holding device is comprised of two blocks into which the handle of the impression will imprint, securing the impression and preventing it from moving about during transport.
