US Patent 7845239 Disposable flow chamber electro-magnetic flow sensor

The present invention is an assembly of a removable and preferably disposable electromagnetic flow chamber cassette adapted to be connected with a receiver having a coil and C-shaped core. An orientation slot in the C-shaped core and a supported insertion slot for electrical connection of the cassette cause an electrode bearing flow chamber to exposed to a magnetic field. Voltages across two or more pairs of electrodes are detected by microprocessor means for calculation and display of a flow rate of a flowing liquid in the flow chamber.
